Hello and welcome to The State of the Internet. I hope you enjoy your visit.
So, as mentioned on my Home page, I spend too much time on Facebook. The amount of time I spend on Facebook is quite simply, ridiculous. It is often the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. I have a more justifiable reason to be there than most as I live very far away from my family and it is the primary place I communicate with them. They see what I am doing and how I am feeling. They see pictures of my life here in Sweden and in turn, I see how there lives are going. I even get to keep up with the news in Australia because people make posts about the Malaysia Airlines' missing airplane or how the local sports team (Go Crows) is faring.
I do, however, post statuses that probably really annoy some of them and probably a whole bunch of other people too. I post them because they are what I am thinking about but really, who cares what I think? That is why I made this blog. Now I have a place to write about what I think where people who really don't care, don't have to see whenever they, like me, are satisfying their Facebook addiction. Later I think I will make a post just on Facebook.
I think I'll make a rule: I am not allowed to write more than 500 words a post. Even people who want to read what I have to say don't want to read that much writing. I know this. I don't set 1000 word essay assignments for a reason. Because of this, I am now going to end this post and make a new one, a continuation of this thought.
Thank you for coming to The State of the Internet. I hope you enjoyed your stay.
