Welcome to the random musings of Marj
Welcome to The Land of Marj. I hope you enjoy your visit.
This website or blog or whatever it is, is a place where I intend to write whatever random thing I am thinking about at the time. I am no philosopher. I do not have a particularly exciting life. I'm an Australian English teacher living in Sweden. I have had the same Swedish partner for 10 years and am currently 6 months pregnant with our first child. I like dancing (especially ballet) crochet, computer games and anything relating to teaching, especially English (so books comes under here). In the picture above, you can see some lovely pictures of me with my mum, dad, sister, two brothers, my sister-in-law and my nephew and niece (If you are featured in the picture above or for that matter anywhere else here and you don't wish to be, please privately message me. Ironically, Facebook is probably the best place but if you are in my life, you may have my email). That's about everything you'll find in The Land of Marj so I assume that's what I'll write about here. This blog (or website?) is an attempt to make me spend less time on Facebook. I decided that, instead of posting random musings there, I'd post them here so they wouldn't bother people who really don't care about what I have to say. So, if you want to hear what I have to say, you can come here. It seems that I can link this to Facebook so I will probably do that. What I have to say is really not that interesting though so don't come here thinking you'll get some exciting revelation about the world because you won't. Another thing to remember is that this is not my first attempt to make a blog and every time, I fail because I don't write in it regularly enough. I am hoping that this Weebly website builder thingy (found out about it here: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-blog-sites-wordpress-blogger/) As the website where I found it says, it's not as use friendly (I actually think it's pretty user friendly) but it is very customizable which I like. I am also not going to make any promises to post every day, or week, or even month. This is just a place for me to write and share photos. Sometimes. If I want. It's prettier than Facebook and less annoying.
Thank you for coming to The Land of Marj. I hope you enjoyed your stay.
